[ Saturday 1 24 09 8:17am ] i had a dream that i was in a living room with some people at a house. i was sitting on a red couch and a few feet away, behind the couch to my left, leaning against a wall, were animal collective. they were just there, hanging out, i guess. the members of animal collective in my dream didn't resemble the real ones. all of a sudden, they just start singing and it's really pretty and awesome. they're mostly making instrument noises with their mouths. i turn around to get a better look and i realize one of them is playing a recorder or some similar instrument while standing on his head, still against the wall. he's wearing this royal purple cardigan and his face is red. i get nervous that he's going to pass out or something from the blood rushing into his head. but that worry passes and i'm just really into the music. i look around no one is impressed or moved and i get really nervous and rummage through the living room, looking for a recorder to record the song. i can't remember what song it was, at all. it might've actually been animal collective, or someone else. i'm sure it was an existing song. but it was so great and i wish i had a dream recorder or some shit. 3 / cat's pyjamas
